Peaceful seas and a gentle breeze at Sunset
One of my favorite images! A huge hello and thank you to all of my several new followers, and great big thank you to all of my dear long term followers! I hope this image finds each of you safe and heppy and much hope for a safe and productive (drama free) work week!
On a side note, it has come to my attenton that several of my images are being used on other websites (business and personal). I need to take a moment to remind those individuals that my images are copyright protected and unauthorized use is prohibited by law. For those of you who want to use my image, you may surely do so provided you link the image back to my website and please give me credit as photographer (I would not steal your work, so please do not steal mine). If you want to purchase royalty free rights to use the images or want to purchase prints for your home or office: please see my About page for info on how to do that.
On the bright side: My school has bestowed upon my a Mimiya medium format camera with a digital back! So now, I need to find a few locations to shoot seascapes and landscape! If anyone if familiar with Coastal North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and even Florida…please send me your suggested locations. I will do my best to get some of them uploaded for your enjoyment!

This is lovely Stan, I felt peace just viewing it for the first time here… I love how the colors just blend …one into the other — muted lines in a sense…
On the other, your work is special and I suppose that is why some are “borrowing” it – but I agree that for sure when we use others’ art on a public forum we need to give credit to the artist!! I am glad you communicated that here. Now if you want a coast to photograph this summer ~ you may need to make a trip out East here and come have that glass of wine with me!!! 🙂 Our beaches are pretty awesome… Sending Love ~ RL

Oh my most enchanting Siren of the Sea (RL :)!), Your invitation is delightful and not so much unthinkable! The thought of sharing an evening wine on the beach may prove too much for this ole’ heart o’mine! But I will keep my fingers crossed for a chance to head your way for a new perspective in my seascapes. Keep that wine close, and your eyes peeled for great locations! Your warmth and genuine glow are always treasured here dear one!

Sorry to hear about the pirating of your images. It really is unnecessary, and well I know how it feels, as I have had a portfolio stolen many years ago, only to find out someone was using it to get work in the same industry.

Absolutely gorgeous photo! Sad to hear that people are “borrowing” it though, even though I realize it’s a compliment, I suppose. You should add a watermark to your images; it would discourage unauthorized use but at least give you credit when it happens.

I am told we should “educate the public” about unauthorized use of another’s work, it would appear that most would understand a lawsuit much faster and more clearly! I believe if they like enough to steal it, then they should like it enough to buy it. We all know every penny DOES MATTER these days! lolol! Stay safe, and please come by often!

Breathtaking Stan! I love how you caught the ocean in such serenity. One of the perks of living in Hawaii…are the beautiful beaches. I can only imagine what you could capture in the islands.

Thank you Nirvani! One of these days I do hope to make a trip out to the Islands! I have been planning to visit an photograph many areas of Hawaii, including the surfers and the huge wave, the volcano action, and some of the peaceful beaches and native culture. I visited once, many years ago. I remember the Arizona Memorial, the pineapple factory, and Waikiki Beach (hot sand! lol!). So many wonderful and beautiful people and places where you are!
