Equipment used: Nikon D300, Nikkor 80-300 VR lens, gloves, boots, coat, hat, lolol…DANG cold up there!

    • Thank you! You may actually have to click on the image and look at it in high res to see the people on the observation deck (top right, near the dome), but this place is absolutely breathtaking! In my earlier posts I display an image of an old barn with two mountain peaks in the background. This image was shot from those two peaks and looking right back down to the place where I had been standing to take that shot…it is the large black area at the center of this image..the valley below in Garmisch!

    • Much appreciated Smidge! The wind was just HOWLING up there! Oh, and as a side note…in that observatory (top right…the dome), there is a 4 star restaraunt…and they serve gourmet coffee and also German and Swiss chocolate delights! It does work up an appetite just getting up there to it though…lolol!

    • The Swiss Alps is def on my list of places I am hoping to travel and photograph! This location in Germany is truly magical for me, now I am hoping ti pack and travel to Switzerland! Thanks for the visit and the comments!
