Hello to all of my followers, friends, and visitors! Just a quick note to all of you that currently, my Instructor is keeping up busy with portraiture and fashion imagery. For those of you who more prefer my Landscapes and Seascape, many more of those coming soon! Please bear with me as I try to hone my skills with this style of photography. Thank you in advance!

For all you fashionistas, fashion designers, designers, and wardrobe specialists; please take a moment to offer any constructive criticism that will help be to deliver better quality imagery for you. Photographers, as always, your input is deeply appreciated. I am truly “shooting in the dark” as far as camera angles, lens choices, and location selection. I am simply going with my gut instinct on what I think might work well for the image. Post processing was geared for more of an “edgy” look (as opposed to portraiture), so let me know if this works or if it is a “no go” in the world of fashion. Thank you so much to everyone who has been kind enough to follow my plunge into this new career path! I had no idea this path would be so consuming yet filled with wonderful caring people! Attempting to use a classic lighting technique with the perculiar lighting style of photographer Horst P. Horst. Obviously I have a ways to go before i arrive at his level! But I do feel I have captured the essence of what I was after in this shot (lighting style wise). This was my first attempt so be looking out for a much more expanded upon version of this style of image and lighting technique.

Greetings everyone! It has been some time since my last post… it appears I have fallen into a creative “Bubble”. My task and assignment for these past three weeks was to create some classic based fashion and glamour images. Apparently I have not done so well, after presenting an 84 image slide show; my instructor referred to my work as more “pinup” style than true fashion (granted, a majority of my work was accomplished on the beach). So, I am appealing to my colleagues  followers and friends, and visitors to provide some feedback (constructive criticism please).  And as usual, I do hope that my images move you, spark imagination, and ignite some creativity!
